Expanding Our Vision

La Posada is one of southern Arizona’s leading nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations. For over 35 years, La Posada has been a strong community partner in the Green Valley/Sahuarita area.

Our 130-acre La Posada at Green Valley community is home to more than 750 residents and employs more than 600 team members. As a trusted and financially stable provider, La Posada Green Valley has maintained CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited status for more than 20 years.

Now, La Posada brings its mission to maximize the well-being of seniors to its magnificent 80-acre site in Oro Valley. The community is designed to blend into the uniquely beautiful landscape in the foothills of Pusch Ridge, working with the contours and topography of the site to evoke a feeling of bringing the outside in..

Our Timeline

1987: First Apartments Open at La Posada at Green Valley

2002-03: First in the state accredited by Continuing Care Retirement Communities/Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities; 153-unit La Perla apartments open.

2018: La Posada at Green Valley is inducted into the Sahuarita Unified School District Hall of Fame for continuing partnership and support.

2019: Joni Condit is appointed President and CEO by the La Posada Board of Trustees after the retirement of Lisa Israel from that role.

2019: La Posada is recognized as the AZ19 Good Corporate Citizen for community partnership.

January 2023: Official Groundbreaking of La Posada at Pusch Ridge.

March 2025: Pusch Ridge opens its doors, welcoming its first residents.
